Biography

Christine Côté is an Associate Professor at the London School of Economics (LSE) with a focus on International Business. She serves as the Programme Director for the Executive Global MSc Management (EGMiM) and Academic Director for the CEMS Masters in International Management programme. With a PhD in International Political Economy from LSE, Christine has a rich educational background including an MPA in Economic Policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from London Business School, and a BA in Economics and Politics from McGill University. Before joining LSE, she lectured on international business at McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management in Montreal. Côté has also held roles as an international trade negotiator for Canada, where she represented the nation in negotiations with the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). Her consultancy experience includes providing strategic advice on public policy and economic development across Europe, Africa, and Asia. She is actively involved in research concerning international trade and investment agreements, globalization, and foreign direct investment strategies.
