Biography

Christine Duffy, MD MPH, is an Associate Professor of Medicine and a Clinician Educator with expertise in cancer survivorship. She serves as the Director of Adult Survivorship Services at the Lifespan Cancer Institute and is the Clinical Director of the Miriam Primary Care Clinic, where she oversees the training of Brown medical residents in ambulatory care. Her research interests include optimizing models of shared care for long-term primary care cancer survivors in collaboration with oncologists. Dr. Duffy has conducted significant research on the challenges faced by cancer survivors, including issues related to fertility and alcohol intake relating to reproductive cancers. She has authored numerous publications, including a notable article on reproductive health discussions for young women with breast cancer undergoing chemotherapy. Dr. Duffy has received a Master of Public Health from Brown University and a Doctor of Medicine from Cornell Medical College. Additionally, she has been recognized with awards for her outstanding teaching at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University, as well as being a fellow at the Summer Institute on Informed Patient Choice at Dartmouth College.
