Biography

Christine Eckert is a Professor of Marketing Analytics at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) School of Management. She has a primary research interest in quantitative modeling, particularly focusing on the decision-making processes of market participants. Her research spans multiple disciplines, including consumer financial decision-making and strategic management within innovative firms. Eckert completed her undergraduate studies in mathematics at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and Christian Albrecht University Kiel. She has served as Associate Editor for the journal Big Data and Business Analytics since 2023 and is on the Research Advisory Board for Super Consumers Australia since 2022. Furthermore, she has received various accolades, including the Paper Award from the Center for Financial Planning in 2021.
