Dr. Christine Herman graduated from St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Science and a Diploma in Forensic Science in 2002. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Dalhousie University in 2006 and subsequently completed her cardiac surgery residency training. She is certified by the Royal College in Cardiac and Vascular Surgery and actively participates in innovative clinical programs such as the QEII Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implant Program, Connective Tissue Clinic, and Endovascular Repair of complex open aortic surgery. Currently, she serves as the Research Director of the Division of Cardiac Surgery and focuses on clinical socioeconomic research collaborations aimed at improving cardiovascular care for patients in Atlantic Canada.
