Dr. Christine Minerowicz

Biography

Christine Minerowicz, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Pathology at Yale School of Medicine. She serves as the Chair and CLIA Laboratory Medical Director at Pathology Laboratory Medicine at Yale New Haven Health’s Bridgeport Hospital. Dr. Minerowicz's clinical focus includes thoracic pathology, generalist coverage in surgical pathology, laboratory medicine, and laboratory administration. She emphasizes operational efficiency and quality improvement in her work. Board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology, Dr. Minerowicz completed her medical education through the BA/MD program at Rutgers University, receiving her MD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 2007. She served in the Navy from 2007 to 2011 and completed her Transitional Internship at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in 2008. Following this, she trained in pathology residency at Rutgers University and pursued a fellowship in thoracic pathology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Minerowicz is actively involved in professional organizations, including the College of American Pathologists, where she is a member of the House Delegates and contributes to state medical societies. She aims to refine diagnostic techniques and improve laboratory medicine to enhance patient outcomes.
