Biography

Christine H. Rohde, MD, MPH, is a Professor of Surgery at Columbia University, specializing in microsurgery and plastic surgery. After graduating from Harvard Medical School in 2000, Dr. Rohde completed her general surgery training at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston before accepting a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Montefiore Medical Center. She then completed a fellowship in microsurgery at the New York University Medical School's Institute of Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery in 2006. Dr. Rohde's research primarily focuses on the outcomes of plastic surgical interventions related to cancer reconstruction and post-surgical care. She earned a Master of Public Health from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in 2013, where she concentrated on comparative effectiveness research.
