Professor Christopher Briggs specializes in Medieval British Economic and Social History. His research addresses various questions related to society, economy, and law in England and Europe during the Middle Ages (1200-1500). Professor Briggs is also involved in supervising graduate students who work on aspects of economic and social history in England from around 1200 to 1500.
