Biography

Christopher Geczy has been a Finance Department faculty member at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania since 1997. He serves as the Academic Director of both the Jacobs Levy Equity Management Center for Quantitative Financial Research and the Wharton Wealth Management Initiative. He regularly teaches investment management, having co-created a full course on hedge funds and developed a survey course in sustainable/ESG investing. Geczy's experience includes creating courses for Wharton Executive Education and teaching accredited professional Risk Management courses through the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business. He is also the Founding Editor of the Financial Planning Review and serves on various investment committees and boards.
