Biography

Chris Gillespie is a Medical Sociologist specializing in patient perception, risk experience, and routine cancer screening. He is based at the VA Bedford Healthcare System within the Center for Health Optimization and Implementation Research (CHOIR), where he primarily conducts qualitative research to understand the meaning of health risk experiences. Dr. Gillespie completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Health Services Research at VA Bedford after finishing his graduate education.
