Biography

Christopher Grundke completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at Dalhousie University and a Master of Divinity and Master of Arts at Acadia University. He holds a PhD in Hebrew Old Testament Studies from New College, University of Edinburgh. After a stint as a sessional instructor in 2000-2001 at Acadia, he joined the Department of Classics at Dalhousie University, where he teaches undergraduate courses. His teaching primarily centers on introductory Hebrew, Israelite history, and intensive Latin during the summer session. With a keen interest in biblical languages and literature, his research focuses on biblical history, narrative rhetoric, linguistic pedagogy, and Latin lexicography. He has a strong passion for ancient Hebrew and its nuances.
