Biography

Christopher F. Liu, MD, FACC, FHRS is currently an Associate Professor of Medicine and the Medical Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology Services at New York-Presbyterian - Weill Cornell Network. He leads the Complex Arrhythmia Ablation Structural Heart Electrophysiology program at Weill Cornell Medicine. As an innovator in the arrhythmia field, Dr. Liu has pioneered multiple procedures at Weill Cornell Medical Center including pulsed-field ablation for atrial fibrillation, high-power RF ablation, and cryo-balloon ablation. His research focused on improving outcomes in catheter ablation and he serves as a peer reviewer for several prestigious cardiology journals. He is also a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society and the American College of Cardiology and has been involved in regulatory affairs with the FDA. Dr. Liu has been recognized for his significant contributions in Cardiac Electrophysiology and advanced imaging in complex ablation, leading the integration of advanced technologies to improve patient outcomes.
