Christopher MacLean is an Instructor in the School of Health and Human Performance at Dalhousie University. His research is focused on lower extremity biomechanics and the biomechanics of footwear, as well as mechanisms of musculoskeletal injuries. With a solid educational background, he obtained his Ph.D. in Biomechanics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2006, and prior to that, he earned an M.Sc. in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia in 1995 and a B.Sc. in Exercise Science from Acadia University in 1990. Through his teaching and research, he aims to advance the understanding of biomechanical factors that affect human movement and injury prevention.
