Biography

Christopher McCabe undertook undergraduate graduate studies at the University of Oxford, obtaining MPhys in Physics in 2007 and a DPhil in Theoretical Particle Physics in 2011. He served as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Particle Physics Phenomenology (IPPP) at Durham University from 2011 to 2014, and subsequently at the GRAPPA Centre of Excellence at the University of Amsterdam from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, he joined King’s College London as an STFC Ernest Rutherford Fellow and a Proleptic Lecturer in the Department of Physics. His research focuses on theoretical particle physics, including new models of the Standard Model, supersymmetry, large extra dimensions, and string theory. He is also involved in research related to quantum technologies.
