Biography

Christopher Mills holds an interdisciplinary academic background with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics Politics from Lancaster University and a Master of Arts in Politics from the University of Manchester. He completed his PhD at the Manchester Centre for Political Theory in 2013. After joining the University of Warwick's Law School, he served as a Teaching Fellow in the Philosophy Department at the University of Glasgow and as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Ethics and Law at University College London. At Warwick, Christopher has played an active role in managing the BA Politics, Philosophy, Law undergraduate degree, contributing to various aspects of the program. He is an active member of Warwick's Centre for Ethics, Law, and Public Affairs (CELPA) and serves as the Chief Editor of the PEA Soup Blog. Christopher teaches topics in contract law, the philosophy of private law, and the philosophy of law more generally. He also supervises dissertations in areas such as the philosophy of human rights, criminal law, animal rights, bioethics, and ancient legal thought.
