Biography

Associate Professor Christopher Peacock obtained his PhD from Cambridge University, UK in 1998. His primary research focus is on genomics related to pathogens that cause tropical neglected diseases. He has accumulated three years of international experience working in Brazil and the Ivory Coast, followed by six years at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute before relocating to Western Australia. Additionally, he speaks passable French and Brazilian Portuguese, enhancing his collaborative potential in diverse research contexts.
