Dr. Christopher Ralph

Biography

Christopher Ralph is a dedicated dance lecturer at Princeton University, originating from Long Island, New York. His journey in dance began at Holy Trinity High School, where he was accepted into the theater and dance program under the guidance of Cathy Murphy and James Whore. He further honed his skills by attending Broadway Dance Center and learning from esteemed teachers such as Peter Schabel, Dorrit Koppel, Frank Hatchett, and Chio Yamada. In 2005, Christopher completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance at SUNY Purchase College. His performance experience includes working with renowned choreographers and companies, including Aszure Barton Artists, Sonya Tayeh, and the Metropolitan Opera, among others. He is recognized for his dynamic teaching style that fuses various dance genres. Over the past three years, he has taught contemporary dance at the Peridance Capezio Center and has shared his knowledge through classes at Princeton University and New York University. His dance career includes appearances in the Hulu series 'Saturday Church' and participation in films showcased at the Tribeca Film Festival. He is passionate about spreading his skills to eager students across the globe.
