Dr. Chrysoula Dosiou

Biography

Chrysoula Dosiou specializes in the treatment of patients with thyroid disease, with a particular interest in the evaluation and management of thyroid disorders during pregnancy and related conditions including thyroid-eye disease. Her clinical focus encompasses thyroid dysfunction, Graves' disease, hyperthyroidism, endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism. Dosiou serves as a Clinical Professor and has held multiple administrative roles, including Medical Director of the Thyroid Eye Clinic and Program Director of the Endocrinology Fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine. She completed her fellowship in endocrinology at Stanford and has been involved in numerous educational programs within her field. Her research interests include the interactions between the endocrine and immune systems in women and the implications of autoimmune thyroid disease during pregnancy. Dosiou's background is rooted in extensive academic training, having earned her MD from Harvard Medical School and additional degrees focused on epidemiology and biology. Throughout her career, she has emphasized the importance of specialized care for complex endocrine conditions in women, particularly those affecting reproductive health.
