Biography

Chun-Yeh Chien is an Associate Professor at UT Health Houston School of Dentistry. He is a board-certified Prosthodontist recognized by the American Board of Prosthodontics in the USA and the Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry in Taiwan. Dr. Chien received his DDS degree from Chung Shan Medical University in Taiwan in 2005, followed by a Certificate in Prosthodontics (MSD) from Indiana University in 2015. He completed a dental Implantology fellowship at the University of Florida in 2016. Dr. Chien served six years at Marquette University in Wisconsin before joining UT Health. His academic experience includes directorships in Implant Dentistry, Digital Dentistry, and Fixed Prosthodontics. He is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontists and the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics in the USA, as well as the Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry in Taiwan. His academic interests focus on clinical didactical education, particularly in the fields of implant dentistry, fixed prosthodontics, and digital dentistry.
