Dr. Chun Kim

Biography

Chun Il Kim is a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta. He specializes in various aspects of mechanical engineering, including mechanics, materials, elasticity, and solid mechanics. His research interests extend to composites, polymers, nano and micro materials, biomechanics, biomedical engineering, sensors, human mechanical systems, and biomaterials. He has an extensive academic background, having completed his Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta, along with a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Dong-A University in South Korea. He has also served as an NSERC Post-Doctoral fellow at the University of California-Berkeley. Dr. Kim has published numerous papers in reputable journals, demonstrating his expertise and contribution to the field of mechanical engineering. He is committed to advancing research in his areas of interest and has established a strong professional network within the academic community.
