Biography

Scientia Professor Chun Wang is currently the Head of the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and Director of the ARC Research Hub for Connected Sensors for Health. With a significant focus on advanced composites technologies, his research includes load-carrying high-performance structures, soft composites, wearable sensors, and energy storage devices. He has received numerous recognitions, including being elected a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering and appointed as a Scientia Professor for his contributions to international research. Prior to UNSW, he held senior positions at institutions such as the Defence Science and Technology Organisation and RMIT University.
