Dr. Chuna Choudhary

Biography

Chuna Ram Choudhary is a professor and group leader at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He completed his doctoral studies in Biochemistry at the University of Münster, Germany, under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Hubert Serve, and pursued postdoctoral training at the Max Planck Institute for Biochemistry in Martinsried, Germany, under Prof. Dr. Matthias Mann. His research focuses on the dynamics of protein post-translational modifications, particularly lysine acetylation and ubiquitylation, and their roles in cell signaling networks, utilizing quantitative mass spectrometry-based approaches. Choudhary has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and has received several prestigious awards, including the Sapere Aude research grant from the Danish Research Council and the Consolidator grant from the European Research Council. His laboratory aims to achieve a systems-wide understanding of signaling networks and collaborates with national and international groups to advance these studies.
