Dr. Chuqiao Zhou

Biography

Chuqiao Zhou is an assistant professor in organization studies and strategy at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan Campus. She obtained her Ph.D. in organization theory from the Rotterdam School of Management and has completed postdoctoral research at the W. P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University. Her research interests lie at the intersection of organization theory and strategic management, employing qualitative approaches to explore how organizations navigate challenges posed by emerging digital technologies and social tensions. Her work particularly focuses on the role of emotions in addressing social inequality, social evaluations, organizational reputation, and stakeholders’ emotional responses. Chuqiao has been actively engaged in research that investigates organizational behaviors and their responses to varying environmental challenges. She continues to publish her findings in reputable academic journals, contributing to the dialogue on institutional theory and strategic management.
