Biography

Cicilia Muller graduated from the University of Pretoria in South Africa in 2009 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science. She started her career working in emergency veterinary and animal welfare clinics in the city of Cape Town. In 2013, she moved to the Middle East to work at a small animal veterinary clinic in Qatar and an ISFM gold standard cat-friendly clinic in Abu Dhabi. In 2018, she obtained membership in Feline Medicine and was admitted to the Feline Medicine Chapter of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists. Cicilia relocated to Sydney in 2019 and joined the UVTHS Primary Care team. Her interests include feline medicine, feline behavior, animal welfare, and veterinary education. Her work focuses on improving cat-friendly practices in clinical settings, enhancing feline welfare, and reducing stress in hospitalized cats. In veterinary education, Cicilia is committed to developing case-based learning approaches to prepare students for practical challenges in clinical decision-making and financial management.
