Biography

Cindy Patton is a Professor Emeritus at Simon Fraser University, where she has contributed significantly to the fields of Sociology and Anthropology. Notable publications include titles such as 'Cinematic Identity: Anatomy Problem Film' and 'Globalizing AIDS.' Patton has also received numerous accolades, including the Winship Distinguished Research Professor award from Emory University and the SSHRC Public Access Homelessness Research Library Principal Investigator role. Her work continues to influence her academic disciplines and the broader community.
