Claire Blencowe is a Professor at the University of Warwick, specializing in Sociology. Additionally, she collaborates on projects investigating the impact of armed violence on women in favelas in Rio de Janeiro, focusing on the dynamics of biopolitical racism and the roles of religious movements in contexts of extractive frontiers.
