Biography

Claire Chapados was an Associate Professor (2003-2008) and a Full Professor (2008-2020) at the Faculty of Nursing of the University of Montreal. From her early years as a nurse, she was focused on improving patient care, which quickly led to various mandates in this field of expertise. She initiated the implementation of three specialized nurse practitioner programs (nephrology, cardiology, and primary care) at the University of Montreal, which are crucial for improving the population's access to quality healthcare services.
