Biography

Claire Gallien is a Senior Research Fellow at the Cambridge Muslim College and an Affiliated Lecturer in the Faculty of Divinity at the University of Cambridge. She received a Professor habilitation from Sorbonne Nouvelle in 2023. Additionally, she is engaged in decolonial thinking and translation studies, with fluency in English, French, and Arabic. Gallien has also contributed to the academic community through her expertise as a translator and her involvement in various research projects related to Islamic studies.
