Biography

Clara Kraft Isono is an award-winning filmmaker and architect with extensive experience in academia. She is the founder and director of Kraft Isono, a multidisciplinary design and animation film production studio dedicated to telling critical design stories. With over 20 years of teaching experience in the UK at institutions like the Bartlett School of Architecture and the University of East London, she recently held a position at the Royal College of Art, where she co-led an interdisciplinary film and architecture design studio. Her latest film projects include feature-length documentaries on architects Geoffrey Bawa and Jørn Utzon, currently screening globally, along with developing immersive VR experiences and a documentary on Zaha Hadid's early life.
