Biography

Clarisa Long is the Max Mendel Shaye Professor of Intellectual Property Law at Columbia Law School, having joined the faculty in 2005. She previously served as a Research Professor at the University of Virginia School of Law. Her academic interests lie at the intersection of intellectual property law, legal theory, and the economics of information and property law. Before her legal career, Long conducted molecular biology research at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.
