Dr. Claude Farah

Biography

Clinical Professor Claude Farah is an adult respiratory physician with extensive clinical experience in the assessment and management of airways disease, lung cancer nodules, and breathlessness. He completed his PhD focused on airway physiology and small airways disease. His research interests include airways disease, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), respiratory physiology, and translational research. Professor Farah consults at the Macquarie University Clinic and Concord Hospital. He has held academic appointments at Macquarie University and the University of Sydney, published numerous scientific papers in international peer-reviewed journals, and has been involved in national position statement documents. He has also supervised graduate research students and served as an invited speaker at various local and international meetings.
