Biography

Claude St-Cyr is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education at the University of Montreal. Previously, he was the initiator and director of the CAR project at the Lucie and André Chagnon Foundation, a program aimed at strengthening the professional expertise of managers and teachers and establishing collaborative cultures within school teams. He holds a Doctorate in Education, a Master's in Education, and a Master's in School Administration. He has served as the General Director of the Sherbrooke Regional School Board, the Drummondville CEGEP, and as Director of Joliette College at the Lanaudière Regional CEGEP. His research interests focus on the transformation of school boards into learning organizations, the implementation of collaborative approaches within schools and school boards, and the development of leadership and professional capital among staff and management.
