Biography

Claudia Danti is a Research Assistant at the Centre for Star and Planet Formation at the University of Copenhagen. Her research primarily revolves around theoretical planet formation, focused on the formation of gas giants and the influence of the outer disc on the formation of Earth-like planets. She employs 1D models and N-Body simulations to investigate planet growth and evolution, aiming to provide insights into the mechanisms of planet formation and explain the distinctions between the Solar System and observed exoplanetary systems. Claudia has been a PhD fellow at the Globe Institute of the University of Copenhagen since 2022. She holds a Master's degree in Astrophysics and Cosmology from the University of Padova, Italy, where her master's thesis was conducted at the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy in Heidelberg, Germany. Prior to that, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Milano, Italy. Claudia has collaborated on significant research projects over the last five years, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in her field.
