Biography

Professor Doblinger’s research focuses on interface public policies and firm-level technological innovation with a particular emphasis on sustainability in the bio-energy sector. Her main objective is to understand how political incentives influence innovation and entrepreneurial activities within firms, especially in the context of clean energy and transportation technologies. She holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Regensburg and has earned a PhD in Innovation Technology Management. In her doctoral studies, she served as a postdoctoral researcher at the Harvard Kennedy School and has also been a guest researcher at the University of Colorado at Boulder and the University of Cambridge. Before her academic career, she gained practical experience as a project manager in digitization at Maschinenfarbik Reinhausen GmbH. In 2018, she accepted a position to lead the newly created professorship in Innovation Technology Management at the Technical University of Munich's Campus Straubing for Biotechnology and Sustainability.
