Biography

Claudia Geue is a Senior Lecturer in Health Economics and Health Technology Assessment at the University of Glasgow. She holds a degree in Economics from the University of Potsdam, Germany (2004) and a PhD in Health Economics from the University of Glasgow (2012). Claudia joined the Health Economics and Health Technology Assessment (HEHTA) group in 2008, after working as a research assistant at the Health Economics Research Unit (HERU) at the University of Aberdeen. Her research interests revolve around the use of data science and real-world evidence in health and social care decision-making. Claudia focuses on analyzing routinely collected health and social care data to address research questions related to socio-economic and geographical patterns in health and social care utilization and related expenditures. She has led various projects including evaluations of public health interventions and has a special interest in methodological and applied research. Claudia co-leads the MSc in Health Economics and Health Technology Assessment and supervises PhD, MSc, and MPH students at the University of Glasgow.
