Biography

Claudine Déom is a professor at the School of Architecture where she teaches built heritage conservation at all three cycles of studies. Her research focuses on the links between the conservation of cultural heritage and sustainable development objectives. She is also interested in the history of architecture construction in Quebec, promoting the reuse of existing buildings, particularly those with heritage interest.
