Biography

Clémence Grisel Rapin is a full professor of administrative law and administrative procedure at the Faculty of Law of the University of Fribourg. She holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Lausanne (2001) and a Doctorate in Law from the University of Fribourg (2008). She was an assistant at the Chair of Administrative Law at the University of Fribourg before obtaining a grant for early-stage researchers from the Swiss National Science Foundation, which allowed her to stay as a visiting researcher at the Max-Planck Institute for Foreign Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg (2006). She has held a bar admission certificate (2008) and practiced law for several years in the Canton of Vaud, while continuing her scientific and teaching activities as a lecturer at the Chair of Administrative Law. She has been a full-time professor at the University of Fribourg since 2013.
