Professor Dr. Clemens Felsmann

Biography

Professor Clemens Felsmann is a professor in the Faculty of Mechanical Science and Engineering at the Technical University of Dresden. He serves as the Dean of Studies for the Renewable Energy Systems degree program since November 2012. His academic focus is on building energy technology and heat supply, emphasizing the importance of future energy supply systems that address living and working conditions effectively. Felsmann has held the Chair in Building Energy Systems since 2009, where he is actively involved in teaching and research. He advocates for high-quality courses and the presence of professors in educational settings, ensuring students have access to comprehensive learning opportunities related to energy efficiency. His research aims to optimize energy supply solutions for urban environments while significantly reducing reliance on fossil fuels for heating and cooling, thereby moving towards a more sustainable future.
