Biography

Colleen DiGiacomo is a Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Nursing. She joined the DNP Nurse Anesthesia faculty after graduating from the DNP Nurse Anesthesia program at UPenn in 2022. DiGiacomo earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of California, San Diego in 2014 and completed an accelerated nursing degree at the University of Pennsylvania in 2016. She has experience working in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia before pursuing her Doctorate. Currently, she also works as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at Society Hill Anesthesia Consultants and serves as a Simulation Lab Instructor at Penn. DiGiacomo enjoys various aspects of the CRNA profession and is passionate about educating future CRNAs. She cherishes the moments spent with students in the Simulation Lab and in the Operating Room, celebrating their successes, supporting them in challenges, and watching them grow into strong, confident, and caring healthcare providers.
