Biography

Clinical Associate Professor Collin Chin is a clinician researcher and consultant haematologist affiliated with the Royal Perth Hospital and Cell & Tissue Therapies WA. He graduated with Honours from the University of Western Australia in 2011 and completed his postgraduate training in Clinical Laboratory Haematology at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. He has completed fellowships at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne and MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. A. Prof Chin serves as the Lymphoma Lead at Royal Perth Hospital and has a strong research focus on the treatment of B cell non-Hodgkin lymphomas and immune effector cell therapies. He has authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications and has attracted significant competitive grant funding in excess of half a million dollars. In 2024, he was awarded the prestigious Raine Foundation Clinician Research Fellowship for developing place-of-care manufacturing of CAR T-cell therapy in Western Australia. He is passionate about improving patient access to breakthrough treatments and supervises and mentors junior doctors and students at the University of Western Australia.
