Biography

Dr. Collin Michels is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of South Dakota, earning degrees in Spanish and Biology. He went on to obtain his MD from the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine. Following this, Dr. Michels completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Stanford University, where he notably served as Chief Resident. In addition to his clinical duties, Dr. Michels has held several leadership roles, such as Service Chief at the William S. His professional interests encompass department operations, interdepartmental collaboration, resident education, and pediatric emergencies, reflecting his commitment to enhancing emergency care and education in the field.
