Biography

Connie Barroso (Garcia) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology at Texas A&M University. She received her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from Florida State University in 2020. Dr. Barroso is dedicated to enhancing the understanding of how these elements come together to affect students' motivation for education and their interests in pursuing STEM careers.
