Biography

Connie B. Scanga has been teaching human anatomy and physiology courses since the early 1990s. She played a significant role in revamping the undergraduate nursing curriculum at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on the integration of basic science courses with clinical and laboratory work. Dr. Scanga developed the Integrated Anatomy, Physiology & Physical Assessment course, which emphasizes the foundation of science knowledge necessary for nursing physical assessments.
