Biography

Connor Myant is an Associate Professor and group lead of the Advanced Manufacturing Group at Imperial College London's Dyson School of Design Engineering. His research interests encompass Design Additive Manufacture, Mass Customisation, the development of 3D Printing technology software, and Tribology. He currently leads modules on Solid Mechanics 2 and Design Additive Manufacture for undergraduate degrees and a Master's program in Design Engineering. Prior to his current role, he was part of the ICL Tribology Group, where he held a Junior Research Fellowship focused on synovial fluid lubrication in artificial joints. Connor earned his PhD from Imperial College London in 2010, developing experimental techniques for investigating lubricated, compliant bearing contacts. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Exeter in 2006.
