Biography

Dr. Conor Kleweno grew up on a family wheat farm and cattle ranch in Endicott, WA. He attended the University of Washington for his undergraduate studies, earning a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Bioengineering from 1996 to 2001. He then moved to Boston to attend Harvard Medical School, where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree from 2002 to 2007. Following medical school, Dr. Kleweno completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program from 2007 to 2012. He furthered his specialization by completing a fellowship in Orthopaedic Traumatology at the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, MD, from 2012 to 2013. Dr. Kleweno returned to Washington in 2013 and serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Washington and Harborview Medical Center. His clinical interests focus on improving the quality of patient care in orthopaedic trauma surgery, including the management of orthopaedic trauma, pelvic and acetabular fractures, and an elective emphasis on joint reconstruction and the treatment of fracture malunion and nonunion.
