Conrad Zapanta earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on biomedical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 1991 and a Ph.D. in bioengineering from Pennsylvania State University in 1997. He is a Fellow of both the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) and the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE).
