Dr. Constance Lebrun

Biography

Constance Lebrun is a Professor in the Department of Family Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Alberta. Her research interests focus on Sport Exercise Medicine, particularly addressing Female Athlete Issues and Concussion management, as well as the Return to Play protocols. Dr. Lebrun is dedicated to enhancing medical education in these areas, ensuring that future healthcare professionals are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to address the unique needs of female athletes. With extensive experience in her field, she has contributed significantly to the understanding of the intersection between sports and health, particularly in areas concerning injury prevention and rehabilitation. Through her work, she aims to improve the athletic experience for female athletes by addressing their specific challenges and promoting their overall health and well-being.
