Cora Cluett is a multi-disciplinary artist from Nova Scotia, educated at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (BFA) and the University of Guelph (MFA), where she was awarded the Governor General’s Academic Gold Medal for her thesis work. Her paintings and photographs have been showcased in solo and group exhibitions at significant venues, including the Art Gallery of Ontario and the Albright Knox Art Gallery in Nova Scotia. Cluett has received numerous artist grants and awards, with her work represented in public, corporate, and private collections. Her painting practice has been the subject of substantial publications, including Roald Naasgard's "Abstract Painting Canada" (2007) and "Carte Blanche 2: Painting" (Magenta Foundation, 2008). In 2014, she was elected to the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts. Cluett teaches courses in art fundamentals, painting, and photography in the 4th year Honours Thesis Studio.
