Biography

Cora Voyageur is an Indigenous social scientist who has made significant contributions to academic sociology and communities. A member of the Athabasca Chipewyan Nation and a residential school survivor, she has been a full Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Calgary since 1998. Her research focuses on Indigenous women’s leadership, health, entrepreneurship, community development, and the ways Indigenous peoples have shaped Canadian society.
