Biography

Coraline Mlynarczyk is an Assistant Professor at the Yale School of Medicine, specializing in the fields of Hematology and Medical Oncology. Her research primarily focuses on immunology and metabolism within germinal center-derived B cell lymphomas, as part of her role in the Center of Molecular and Cellular Oncology at the Yale Cancer Center. After obtaining her Ph.D. in Hematology and Oncology from Paris Diderot University and Saint Louis Hospital in France, Mlynarczyk pursued postdoctoral studies at Weill Cornell Medicine under Dr. Ari Melnick, where she investigated malignant transformation and treatment resistance in B cell lymphomas. Her laboratory's research employs diverse experimental approaches including multi-allelic mouse models and patient-derived models to understand the biological mechanisms that drive the aggressiveness of B cell malignancies. She aims to identify new therapeutic vulnerabilities in poorly prognosis B cell lymphomas, contributing valuable insights into cancer treatment and immunology. Mlynarczyk's work has garnered support from various esteemed organizations including the American Cancer Society and the Lymphoma Research Foundation. She began her lab at Yale in July 2024 and continues to contribute significantly to the understanding of B cell malignancies.
