Professor Dr. Cory Kulczycki

Biography

Cory Kulczycki is an Associate Professor in the field of Sport Recreation Management at the University of Regina. His research focuses on leisure, recreation, and sport tourism, particularly examining the experiences of individuals and groups in various contexts, including event spectators and participants. He is interested in the media framing of both small and large-scale sport events such as cycling and ice hockey. In addition to his research activities, Kulczycki teaches a variety of undergraduate courses in leisure studies and sport recreation management. Outside of his academic responsibilities, he enjoys participating in cycling, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, and triathlons.
